About Block Champ
Block Champ is a single-player arcade block puzzle played on a 10×10 grid. The player selects geometric blocks from a three-piece tray and places them on the board to complete and clear full rows or columns. The aim is to keep finding valid placements while building the score and clearing lines.
The primary objective is to place the available blocks on the 10×10 board and clear complete rows and columns.
Secondary goals are to clear multiple lines together, build combo bonuses, increase the score, and beat the saved high score. The game continues until none of the remaining tray pieces can be placed anywhere on the board.
Block Champ is a single-player arcade puzzle built around a 10×10 square grid. Each turn provides three geometric block pieces in the tray below the board. Select a piece and place it into an open area without overlapping existing blocks or extending outside the grid. You can use the game's drag-and-drop interaction directly, or select a piece and position it using the keyboard controls.
Completing an entire row or column immediately clears its occupied cells. Clearing multiple lines in the same placement produces a multi-line result and contributes to the combo system, while the score increases from cleared lines and combo bonuses. The HUD keeps track of your current score, best score, and total lines cleared.
The game provides block puzzle games as a natural category for similar grid-based challenges. If you prefer broader quick-play challenges, arcade games is another relevant destination. Players looking for other placement-focused puzzles can also explore puzzle games.
There is no level-based progression or countdown timer shown in the game. Instead, each run continues as long as at least one available piece can still fit somewhere on the board.
How to Play
- Start by selecting PLAY NEW GAME from the opening menu.
- Look at the three blocks displayed in the tray beneath the 10×10 board.
- Select a block. On desktop, you can drag it toward the board; keyboard users can select pieces with 1, 2, or 3.
- Position the selected piece on empty board cells. The placement preview indicates whether the position is valid.
- Place the block without overlapping occupied cells or extending beyond the board.
- Complete full horizontal rows or vertical columns to clear them.
- Continue placing the available pieces. When all three tray pieces have been used, three new random pieces are generated.
- Use line clears and multi-line combos to increase your score.
- Avoid filling the board in ways that leave the remaining pieces with no possible placement.
- The run ends when none of the available blocks can fit anywhere on the board.
Winning & Losing Conditions

There is no traditional win condition or level completion. Success is measured by continuing the run, clearing lines, and achieving a high score.
Losing Condition
The game ends when none of the remaining blocks in the three-piece tray can legally fit anywhere on the 10×10 board.

Tips & Strategies
- Preserve open spaces: Avoid creating isolated gaps that cannot accommodate the shapes in your tray.
- Plan around large pieces: The game includes pieces as large as 5 cells in a straight line and 3×3 blocks, so keep sufficiently large open areas available.
- Look for simultaneous clears: Completing multiple rows or columns with one placement increases the points awarded and can trigger a combo bonus.
- Use the preview: When selecting a piece, the board shows a valid or invalid placement preview, making it easier to position irregular shapes accurately.
- Do not rush to fill the board: Since the game ends when no tray piece fits, maintaining future placement options is more important than simply occupying empty cells.
- Track the tray: Three pieces remain available until used; after all three are placed, a new set is generated, so consider the entire current group before committing a placement.
