About Words of wonders
Words of Wonders is a letter-based puzzle game where players form words from a set of letters arranged around a wheel. Connect the letters in sequence to discover the hidden words needed to complete the puzzle, while valid extra words can also provide bonus points.
The main objective is to find every hidden target word in the current puzzle using the available letters in the letter wheel. Players can also discover valid bonus words that are not required to complete the puzzle.
Words of Wonders is a word puzzle built around a circular letter wheel and a board containing hidden words. Each level provides a specific collection of letters, and the player connects those letters in sequence to create words. On desktop, letters can be selected or dragged across with the mouse, while the game also provides touch interaction for mobile-style play.
When a submitted word matches one of the puzzle's target words, the corresponding word is revealed on the board and the player's score increases. Valid words that are not part of the target list are treated as bonus words and award additional points. Duplicate submissions are identified separately, while words that are too short or invalid are rejected.
Players can use the shuffle control to change the visual arrangement of the letters, and a limited hint system can reveal letters from undiscovered words at a score cost. Levels progressively use larger letter sets and different word combinations, creating increasingly challenging puzzles. The game also tracks level progression and saves active puzzle state so a player can return to an unfinished puzzle. Additional options are available through the settings menu, including sound, music, vibration, and fullscreen controls.
How to Play
- Start the game and enter a level.
- Look at the letters arranged around the letter wheel.
- Select or drag across letters in sequence to spell a word.
- Release the mouse or finger to submit the selected word.
- If the word is one of the hidden target words, it is revealed on the puzzle board.
- Continue forming words until every target word has been discovered.
- Search for additional valid words that are not on the board to earn bonus points.
- Use the Shuffle option when you want to rearrange the letter wheel.
- Use Hints when needed to reveal letters from undiscovered target words.
- Complete the puzzle by revealing all of its target words.
If the level has a timer, the countdown can expire before the puzzle is completed, resulting in a timeout.

Winning Condition
A level is completed when all target words on the puzzle board have been found.
Losing Condition
For timed levels, the player fails the level when the timer reaches zero before all target words are found. Untimed levels do not have a traditional losing condition.
