About Hexa Stack
Hexa Stack is an endless hex-grid puzzle game where you drag groups of hexagonal pieces from a three-piece tray onto the board. Complete straight lines in any of the three hexagonal directions to clear them and earn points. Consecutive line clears build combo multipliers, while increasingly large piece shapes make longer runs more demanding.
The primary objective is to place the available hexagonal pieces on the 61-cell hexagonal board, complete full straight lines, clear those lines, and achieve the highest possible score.
The game continues endlessly, with larger and more complex piece shapes becoming available as more lines are cleared. The run ends when none of the remaining pieces can fit anywhere on the board.
Hexa Stack is an endless strategy puzzle built around a 61-cell hexagonal board and three randomly generated pieces at a time. Drag a piece from the tray onto an open area of the board. A placement preview shows whether the selected position is valid: a white outline indicates a valid placement, while a red preview indicates that the piece is blocked or extends outside the board.
Your main scoring opportunity comes from completing straight lines. Lines can be formed along any of the three hex-grid directions, and a completed line clears immediately. Placing a piece also awards points based on its number of hex cells, while clearing lines provides additional points. Consecutive placements that clear lines increase the combo multiplier, and clearing several lines at once produces a larger score.
The game has no traditional stages, so the run continues as the available piece pool expands after 5, 12, and 22 cleared lines. How to Play
- Select PLAY from the home screen to begin a new run. If a saved run exists, the button becomes CONTINUE and restores that run.
- Choose one of the three pieces in the tray.
- Press and hold the piece, then drag it onto the hexagonal board.
- Watch the placement preview while dragging. A white outline represents a valid position; a red outline indicates an invalid placement.
- Release the piece in a valid location. The piece is placed and immediately adds placement points.
- Complete a straight line in any of the three hex-grid directions. Completed lines clear automatically.
- Use consecutive line-clearing placements to build the combo multiplier. Clearing multiple lines in one placement gives additional scoring.
- After all three tray pieces have been used, a new set of three pieces is generated.
- Continue placing pieces while keeping enough open space for the available shapes.
- The run reaches Game Over when none of the remaining pieces can fit anywhere on the board.

Tips & Strategies
- Keep the board flexible. Avoid filling large areas with disconnected pieces that leave no room for the larger shapes introduced later.
- Plan around all three tray pieces. A placement that works immediately may block the remaining pieces, so consider where the other available shapes could fit before committing.
- Build toward straight lines. Lines can be cleared in all three hex-grid directions, so use open spaces to create several possible completion routes.
- Protect open spaces for large pieces. After 5, 12, and 22 cleared lines, the piece pool expands to include larger shapes; preserving usable areas becomes increasingly important.
- Use consecutive clears for combos. A line clear increases the combo multiplier, so arranging placements that allow another clear on the next placement can substantially increase the clear bonus.
- Look for multi-line placements. Completing several lines with one placement increases the clear score because the clear bonus scales with the number of lines cleared.
