Drive Mad: Extreme Physics Drive is a physics-based driving game built around navigating a small vehicle through obstacle-filled courses. Players accelerate, brake, jump, and rotate the vehicle while airborne to cross ramps, platforms, gaps, and hazards. The primary goal is to reach the finish line of each course without crashing.
The main objective is to drive the vehicle from the starting point to the finish line of the current level. Players must control speed, jumps, and the vehicle's orientation to cross terrain and obstacles safely. Completing levels unlocks subsequent levels, while checkpoints can award additional score during a run.
Drive Mad: Extreme Physics Drive combines side-scrolling driving with physics-based vehicle control across 50 designed levels. Each course has its own terrain layout and may introduce ramps, gaps, narrow platforms, spikes, moving platforms, crushers, seesaws, breakable platforms, pendulums, rotating obstacles, and bouncers. The vehicle automatically remains subject to gravity and ground physics, so controlling momentum and orientation is important when leaving ramps or landing on uneven terrain.
Use the accelerator to build speed and the brake/reverse control to slow down or move backward. The jump control launches the vehicle from the ground, while accelerator and brake inputs can rotate the vehicle in the air. Levels display time and score during play. - Build enough momentum to climb ramps and cross gaps, but adjust your speed when approaching narrow platforms and hazards.
- When airborne, use accelerator or brake inputs to rotate and balance the vehicle before landing.
- Drive through available checkpoints to earn checkpoint points and establish the checkpoint's recorded position.
- Avoid deadly obstacles such as spikes, crushers, pendulums, and dangerous rotating obstacles.
- Continue through the course until the vehicle reaches the finish area.
- Completing the finish triggers the level-complete screen, where time, score, crashes, bonuses, and stars are shown.
- If the vehicle crashes, a crash screen appears with options to retry the current level, open level select, or return to the main menu.
Winning & Losing Conditions
Winning Condition
A level is completed when the vehicle reaches the level's finish area. The game then calculates the run's score, bonuses, and star rating and saves the completed level.
Losing Condition
The vehicle crashes when it hits a deadly obstacle, remains upside down on the ground for more than 2.5 seconds, falls below the game's lower boundary, or makes certain high-speed, badly oriented landings. A crash ends the current attempt and displays the retry screen.

Tips & Strategies
- Control your speed before ramps. Too much momentum can make landings harder, especially on narrow platforms or obstacle sections.
- Use air rotation deliberately. Hold accelerator or brake while airborne to adjust the vehicle's nose and improve landing alignment.
- Slow down around narrow platforms. Levels such as Narrow Bridge and Precision Hop use small landing areas where excessive speed can send the vehicle off the course.
- Watch moving hazards before committing. Moving platforms, crushers, pendulums, and rotating obstacles follow their own motion patterns, so timing your approach can be safer than simply accelerating through.
- Use checkpoints for scoring. Reaching a checkpoint awards 50 points, making them useful during a normal run even though the current retry implementation restarts the level rather than respawning directly at the checkpoint.
- Aim for clean, fast runs. Finishing under the 60-second par time can produce a time bonus, while completing a level without a crash adds a separate no-crash bonus and can improve the star rating.
