About POLY TRACK — Infinite Arcade Racer

POLY TRACK is an infinite 3D arcade racing game built around a continuously scrolling elevated road. Choose a route, control the car through curves and slopes, avoid roadside obstacles, and travel as far as possible while reaching checkpoints along the route.

The main objective is to drive as far as possible on the continuously generated route while maintaining control of the car and passing checkpoints. Players can also try to improve the recorded best distance for each available route.

POLY TRACK puts you behind the wheel on an endlessly scrolling elevated road where the goal is to keep driving and extend your distance. Before starting, you can select from five route themes: Summer Flow, Frozen Line, Sunset Canyon, Neon Circuit, and Cloud Runner. Each route changes the surrounding scenery and driving characteristics, including road width, curves, slopes, and obstacle frequency.

During a ride, use acceleration and braking to manage speed while steering through changing road sections. The road contains barriers and cone obstacles that can slow the car when hit, while leaving the road causes the vehicle to fall and eventually return to the latest checkpoint. Checkpoints appear at 500-meter intervals and provide a safe reset position.

The HUD displays your current distance, best distance, ride time, speed, checkpoint count, and distance to the next checkpoint. Players can also switch between chase and cockpit camera views. How to Play

  1. Start a ride from the main menu or select Select Route to choose a route.
  2. Wait for the 3-2-1-GO countdown to finish.
  3. Control the car using acceleration, braking/reverse, and steering.
  4. Manage your speed through curves, slopes, and changing sections of the elevated road.
  5. Avoid barriers and cones because collisions reduce the car's speed and push it sideways.
  6. Stay within the road edges. Driving off the road makes the car fall toward the ground.
  7. Pass checkpoints as you travel. Checkpoints are placed every 500 meters and become the latest reset position.
  8. Use R or Enter to return immediately to the latest checkpoint when needed.
  9. Continue driving to increase your distance and improve the route's best-distance record.
  10. You can pause the ride, restart it, change the camera, or return to the main menu.

Winning & Losing Conditions

Winning Condition

There is no traditional finish or final win state. POLY TRACK is an endless ride, so success is measured by how far you travel and the best distance recorded for the selected route.

Losing Condition

There is no conventional game-over screen. If the car leaves the road, it falls and, after remaining off the road long enough, is automatically returned to the latest checkpoint.

Tips & Strategies

  • Control speed before sharp curves. Braking before entering a difficult bend gives you more room to correct the car's line.
  • Use drift selectively. Holding Space increases the steering effect, which can help negotiate sharper turns at speed, but it also reduces grip.
  • Watch the road edges. Going beyond the road width starts a falling sequence rather than simply stopping the car.
  • Use checkpoints strategically. Every 500 meters becomes a new reset point, so reaching the next checkpoint gives you a safer recovery position.
  • Avoid obstacle impacts. Barriers and cones substantially reduce speed and can push the car sideways, making a second mistake more likely.
  • Use R or Enter when recovery is preferable. A checkpoint reset immediately places the car at the latest safe checkpoint with zero speed.
