About Mystic Sea Treasures
Mystic Sea Treasures is an ocean-themed match-3 puzzle game built around swapping adjacent tiles on an 8×8 grid. Match three or more identical sea-themed pieces horizontally or vertically to clear them, earn points, and collect the required blue gems before your moves run out. Each completed level awards stars based on the number of moves remaining.
The primary objective is to collect the required number of blue gems before running out of moves.
Each level displays a blue-gem collection target. Matching blue gems contributes to that target, while matches of other tile types primarily increase the score. Completing the target finishes the level.
Mystic Sea Treasures is a match-3 puzzle game set around an 8×8 grid filled with five types of ocean-themed pieces: blue gems, green crystals, red coral, gold pearls, and purple shells. The main goal is to collect a specific number of blue gems while working within a limited number of moves.
To make a move, select one tile and then select an adjacent tile to swap them. On a touchscreen, you can also swipe a tile toward an adjacent position. A valid swap that creates a line of three or more identical pieces clears the matching tiles, adds to your score, and causes the remaining pieces to fall as new pieces enter the board.
Blue-gem matches are especially important because they advance the level objective. Consecutive automatic matches can create combos, with the score multiplier increasing for each cascade. The game also provides a limited Trident Blast booster that removes a selected tile without consuming a move.
Players can pause or restart the current level, choose unlocked stages through puzzle games, and explore additional arcade games for similar browser-based gameplay. The ocean theme also makes it suitable for visitors looking for casual games or match-3 games.
How to Play
- Start the game by selecting PLAY, which begins Level 1.
- Check the GOAL panel to see how many blue gems must be collected.
- Select a tile, then select an adjacent tile to attempt a swap.
- Alternatively, on a touchscreen, swipe a tile toward an adjacent tile.
- Create a horizontal or vertical line containing at least three identical pieces.
- Matching pieces are cleared, the score increases, and tiles above fall downward while new pieces fill the board.
- Blue gems cleared through matches increase the blue-gem objective counter.
- A swap that does not create a match is reversed and does not consume a move.
- Use the Trident booster when useful. Select the booster first, then select the tile to destroy; using it does not consume a move.
- Complete the blue-gem target before the available moves reach zero.
- If the level is completed, the game displays your score and earned stars and provides an option to continue to the next level.
- If all available moves are used without completing the target, the OUT OF MOVES! screen appears with an option to try the level again.
Winning & Losing Conditions
Winning Condition
A level is completed when the required number of blue gems has been collected. The game then awards 1–3 stars according to how many moves remain.
Losing Condition
The level is lost when the move counter reaches zero before the required blue-gem target has been collected. The game displays OUT OF MOVES! and offers a TRY AGAIN option.

Tips & Strategies
- Prioritize blue-gem matches: Blue gems directly advance the level objective, so look for opportunities to clear them rather than focusing only on score.
- Look for cascades: A match can cause falling tiles to form another match automatically. These cascades increase the combo multiplier and can clear additional blue gems without another swap.
- Use the Trident strategically: The Trident destroys one selected tile without using a move, making it useful when a needed blue gem is difficult to incorporate into a normal match.
- Check the objective before each move: The target counter shows your current blue-gem progress, helping you decide whether an ordinary match or a blue-gem-focused move is more valuable.
- Avoid unnecessary swaps: Only swaps that create a match consume a move; invalid swaps are reversed. Use this to search for productive matches without spending moves on non-matching arrangements.
- Protect your remaining moves: Level targets increase while the number of available moves decreases at higher levels, so efficient matching becomes increasingly important.
