About Pixel Dash
Pixel Dash is a pixel-style endless runner where the player controls a character that automatically moves through an increasingly difficult course. Jump over incoming obstacles, collect pixel coins and stars, and pick up temporary power-ups while trying to survive for as long as possible and set a new high score.
The main objective is to survive for as long as possible while automatically moving through the endless course. Secondary goals are collecting coins and stars, using power-ups effectively, increasing the score, and achieving a new high score.
Pixel Dash is a pixel-style endless runner centered on automatic forward movement, timed jumps, obstacle avoidance, and score building. The character continuously travels forward while obstacles move toward the player, leaving jumping as the primary gameplay action. On desktop, you can jump with Space, W, or Up Arrow and pause with P or Esc. Touch devices receive an on-screen JUMP button and a pause button.
The course contains several obstacle configurations, including blocks, spikes, tall obstacles, floating obstacles, double obstacles, and gap formations. Pixel Coins and Stars appear throughout the run and contribute to the player's score and collected coin total. Temporary power-ups add different effects: Shield absorbs one hit, Magnet attracts nearby collectibles, Speed increases movement speed, 2X Score multiplies scoring, and Slow reduces obstacle movement speed.
Difficulty increases as survival time progresses, making later sections require more precise jump timing. The game also records a local high score and provides pause, restart, fullscreen, sound, music, and reduced-effects settings. Players looking for similar games can explore endless runner games or arcade games. For obstacle-focused gameplay, action games is another relevant category.

Winning & Losing Conditions
Winning Condition
There is no final winning state because Pixel Dash is an endless runner. A successful run is measured by how long the player survives and how high a score they achieve.
Losing Condition
The run ends when the character receives a fatal collision with an obstacle. The game then displays the GAME OVER screen with the run statistics.

Tips & Strategies
- Time jumps around obstacle spacing. Since the character moves automatically, the main control challenge is choosing when to jump rather than steering horizontally.
- Use the second jump carefully. The game supports a jump while grounded, but the supplied gameplay implementation only allows another jump after landing; do not rely on an air double-jump.
- Watch floating and tall obstacles. Their different heights change the timing required to clear them, so avoid jumping too early.
- Use Shield for dangerous sections. The Shield power-up can absorb one obstacle hit before being consumed.
- Collect Magnet when coin groups are difficult to reach. Magnet temporarily attracts nearby collectibles toward the character.
- Use 2X Score during longer runs. The multiplier applies to distance and collectible scoring while active, making it particularly useful when you can continue surviving through the effect.
