About Deep Dig Miner

Deep Dig Miner is an underground treasure-catching arcade adventure where you control a swinging hook to collect gold, gems, rocks, and treasure chests. Reach the target score before the timer or your available throws run out while avoiding TNT and cursed skulls that reduce your score or time.

The primary objective is to reach the target score for the current level by collecting valuable objects with the mining hook.

After reaching the target, you can continue collecting objects to increase your score and earn a larger completion bonus. Successful levels award stars and coins and unlock further levels.

Deep Dig Miner puts you in control of a mining hook that swings from side to side above an underground treasure field. Release the hook when it points toward a valuable object, then wait for it to retract and bring the object back. Gold nuggets and chunks provide points, while larger gold pieces, gems, crystals, and treasure chests can provide substantially more. Rocks are collectible but have greater weight and slow the hook's return.

Each level has a target score, a time limit, and a limited number of throws. TNT and cursed skulls are hazards: grabbing them can cost points or reduce your remaining time. You can also use limited dynamite charges to clear objects within an explosion radius. Collecting valuable objects quickly builds a combo multiplier, while reaching the target early allows you to keep mining for bonus points.

Progression includes 50 levels, upgrades for hook speed, cable length, retraction, carrying capacity, scoring, dynamite capacity, and time, plus cosmetic hooks and cave themes. Players interested in similar exploration can browse adventure games, while score-focused players can explore arcade games. The upgrade and planning elements also provide a natural connection to strategy games.

How to Play

  1. Start a level from CONTINUE or select an unlocked level from LEVELS.
  2. Watch the hook swing from side to side and wait until it points toward the object you want to collect.
  3. Release the hook using the verified game control: click/tap the game area, press Space, or use the mobile GRAB! button.
  4. The hook travels outward in the selected direction until it reaches an object or its travel limit.
  5. If it catches an object, the hook retracts and brings the object back. Heavy objects make retraction slower.
  6. Collect valuable objects to increase your score and build combos when collections occur within the combo window.
  7. Avoid TNT and cursed skulls because they impose score or time penalties.
  8. Use dynamite when available to clear a group of nearby objects and hazards.
  9. Reach the displayed target score before time expires or your throws are exhausted.
  10. When successful, the level awards stars and coins and unlocks the next level. If you fail, you can restart the level.

Winning & Losing Conditions

Winning Condition

A level is successfully completed when the player's score reaches or exceeds that level's target. The level can also end successfully when the final throw or the timer expires if the target has already been reached.

Losing Condition

The player fails when the timer reaches zero or all available hook throws have been used while the target score has not been reached.

Tips & Strategies

  • Time your releases rather than firing immediately. The hook continuously swings, so wait until its direction lines up with a valuable object.
  • Prioritize high-value deep objects when practical. Diamonds, rare crystals, treasure chests, and larger gold pieces are worth substantially more than small gold or rocks.
  • Watch object weight. Heavy objects slow the hook during retraction, so a very valuable heavy object can consume more of your limited time.
  • Build combos with consecutive collections. Valuable objects collected within the combo window increase the score multiplier.
  • Use dynamite strategically. Its blast can collect multiple valuable objects at once and remove hazards, making it useful when several objects are clustered together.
  • Avoid hazards whenever possible. TNT costs 150 points and 6 seconds when collected, while a cursed skull removes 9 seconds.
