About Emily's Hotel Solitaire
Emily's Hotel Solitaire is a tropical TriPeaks solitaire strategy game that combines card clearing with hotel-building progression. Select face-up cards that are exactly one rank higher or lower than the active card, clear the tableau, earn stars and coins, and use your progress to develop the resort.
The primary objective is to clear every card from the tableau before the level becomes unwinnable or, on timed levels, before the countdown expires. Players also aim to earn higher scores and stars by creating longer card chains and meeting the level's scoring requirements.
Emily's Hotel Solitaire uses a classic 28-card TriPeaks tableau, with three connected peaks that gradually reveal cards as their blockers are removed. The active card determines your next available move: you can select a face-up tableau card exactly one rank above or below it. For example, a 7 can be followed by a 6 or 8. When no useful tableau card is available, draw the next card from the stock pile and continue building the sequence.
Consecutive tableau plays increase your combo and award progressively larger score bonuses, making efficient card chains important for high scores. The game contains 50 levels with changing stock sizes, objectives, difficulty, and occasional time limits. Completing levels awards coins and stars, which contribute to the hotel's progression.
Several boosters provide additional options during difficult layouts, including Joker, Undo, Shuffle, Hammer, and +Cards. You can also pause the game, restart a level, adjust sound and music settings, and enter fullscreen mode. Players interested in similar card challenges can explore strategy games or puzzle games, while the resort-building aspect also connects naturally with simulation games.
How to Play
- Start a level from the level-selection screen or continue an available game.
- Look at the active card shown below the tableau.
- Select a glowing, face-up tableau card that is exactly one rank higher or one rank lower than the active card.
- The selected card becomes the new active card, and cards previously blocked by cleared cards can become available.
- Continue making consecutive tableau plays to build your combo and increase your score.
- When there is no useful tableau move, tap the stock pile to draw a new active card.
- Use boosters when necessary. The available boosters include Joker, Undo, Shuffle, Hammer, and +Cards.
- Clear all 28 tableau cards to complete the level. Some later levels also impose a time limit.
- Completing levels awards coins and stars and can unlock further levels and hotel areas.
- If the stock is empty and there are no valid moves remaining, the level fails. A timed level also fails when its countdown reaches zero.
Winning & Losing Conditions
Winning Condition
A level is completed when all cards in the tableau have been cleared.
Losing Condition

Tips & Strategies
- Look for sequences before drawing from the stock. A valid tableau card can extend your current chain and increase your combo, while drawing breaks the chain.
- Prioritize cards that uncover blockers. Removing an exposed card can reveal additional face-down cards and create more future moves.
- Plan around the active card's rank. Since normal moves must be exactly one rank higher or lower, consider which newly exposed cards will give you useful follow-up options.
- Save boosters for difficult positions. Joker can bypass the rank requirement, while Hammer can immediately remove a face-up card and Shuffle can change the ranks of visible cards.
- Use Undo carefully. It can reverse your most recent move and help recover from an unfavorable sequence.
- For high stars, protect your score potential. Longer uninterrupted chains produce larger combo rewards, so avoid drawing from the stock when a productive tableau sequence is available.
