OBJECTIVE
Capture all of your opponent's pieces or block them so they have no legal moves.
MOVEMENT
Pieces move diagonally forward to adjacent dark squares. Player 1 (Red) moves up; Player 2 (Black) moves down.
CAPTURING
Jump over an opponent's piece diagonally to capture it. Captures are mandatory — if a capture is available, you must take it.
MULTIPLE JUMPS
After a capture, if the same piece can capture again, you must continue jumping with that piece until no more captures are available.
KINGS
When a piece reaches the opponent's back row, it is promoted to a King. Kings can move diagonally in all four directions (forward and backward).
WINNING
You win by capturing all opponent pieces or by leaving your opponent with no legal moves.
DRAWS
A draw is declared after 40 consecutive moves without a capture or promotion.
